Hi Cihan,
I’m not sure I understand your question here. It’s necessary to include the year in your in-text citations in author-date citation style—or use “n.d.” if no date can be determined for a particular source. Hopefully that answers your question, but let me know if you meant something else.
]]>Thank you so much for all this information. I have a quick question regarding the parentheses citation style: is it possible to keep using it with the bibliography list and omitting the year in the citation (with just the last name of the author)?
]]>Hi Anthony,
No, there’s no need for numbering in your reference list, or any indication of how often each source is used.
]]>Thanks for all the information. I would like to know, in regards to my reference list, should I number it to display how often I used it in the paper? I saw that the reference list image that you used didn’t have numbers.
Thank you.
